Dan Hussain

Founder

Bachelor's in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from MIT and a Master's in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon. Studied IP law at Harvard Law School and theoretical geophysics at Cambridge (UK). Has worked with NASA, Siemens and the law firm Frommer, Lawrence & Haug. Siemens Westinghouse National Science Award winner, angel investor and advisor to early-stage tech companies.

Stephen Hou, J.D.

Vice President & COO

Phi Beta Kappa from MIT with four degrees in physics and electrical engineering; J.D. from NYU School of Law. Patent prosecution experience at firms in Boston and San Francisco. Has taught patent law and strategy at Cornell, Harvard Medical School, LSE, MIT, NYU and Wharton, and mentors startups at Harvard Innovation Labs and the MIT Venture Mentoring Service. Alumnus of WIPO's International Patent Drafting Training Program.

Kerim Fouli, Ph.D.

Chief Scientific Officer

Two decades in emerging technologies and technology licensing. Ph.D. in Telecommunications (INRS, Montreal), postdoctoral fellow at MIT's Research Laboratory of Electronics, and former VP of Technology at an MIT spin-out licensing startup. Drafts applications for complex inventions in electrical engineering and computer science.
